A Celebration of Black Film: The Romances
A Celebration of Black returns during the 2nd Annual Kansas City Urban
Film Festival. This event produced by Phillips-West Public Relations and
Communications celebrates the history of black film and the achievements
of black filmmakers. This year’s theme will focus on black love stories and
will feature six films about black romance and 10 mini-documentaries
about black romantic movies produced by award-winning Fox 4 News film
critic Shawn Edwards. Saturday, September 4 (12PM to 8PM)

2:00PM: Robert Townsend presents "Diary of a Single Mom: Season 1
