3. THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG
It's About: Disney's first black princess
comes to life in this fairy tale centered on a
young girl named Princess Tiana who lives
in New Orleans' French Quarter during the
Jazz Age.
Edwards Says: "Entertaining and
enchanting."


4. BLACK DYNAMITE
It's About: Michael Jai White and Arsenio
Hall star in this spoof on Blaxploitation era
flicks. This is the story of 1970s
African-American action legend Black
Dynamite played by White. The Man killed his
brother, pumped heroin into local
orphanages, and flooded the ghetto with
adulterated malt liquor.
Edwards Says: "Funny, funky and super cool."


5. GOOD HAIR  
It's About: Chris Rock explores the wonders
of African-American hairstyles in this
documentary.
Edwards Says: "Hilarious, informative and
educational."


6. SUGAR
It's About: Dominican baseball star Miguel
"Sugar" Santos is recruited to play in the U.S.
minor-leagues. But struggles with adopting
to a new cultural lifestyle in the states.
Edwards Says: "Provocative and stirring."


7. TYSON
It's About: A  mixture of original interviews
and archival footage and photographs sheds
light on the life experiences of Mike Tyson.
Edwards Says: "Scary, interesting and often
sad."


8. TYLER PERRY'S MEDEA GOES TO JAIL
It's About: Mischievous grandma Madea
lands in jail, where she meets a variety of
mixed-up characters.
Edwards Says :"A unique mix of comedy and
drama that's equally silly and painful."


9. NOTORIOUS
It's About: The life and death story of
Notorious B.I.G. (a.k.a. Christopher Wallace),
who came straight out of Brooklyn to take the
world of rap music by storm.
Edwards Says: "A bangin' biopic!"


10. TYLER PERRY'S I CAN DO BAD ALL BY
MYSELF
It's About: When Madea catches
sixteen-year-old Jennifer and her two
younger brothers looting her home, she
decides to take matters into her own hands
and delivers the young delinquents to the
only relative they have: their aunt April.
